Was sind die Scrolls?

Luther's Gorean Educational Scrolls (auch Luther's Encyclopaedia of Gor oder kurz Luther's Scrolls) sind eine umfangreiche Sammlung enzyklopädischer Essays über die fiktive Welt Gor. Die Sammlung umfasst 94 Essays mit insgesamt über 1000 Seiten und wurde über einen Zeitraum von mehr als zehn Jahren recherchiert und verfasst.

Ziel des Projekts ist es, eine möglichst genaue und umfassende Darstellung der Welt von Gor bereitzustellen. Die Scrolls entstanden vor dem Hintergrund, dass viele der insgesamt 26 Gor-Romane (zum Zeitpunkt der Erstellung) vergriffen und schwer erhältlich sind und zahlreiche Online-Quellen zum Thema Ungenauigkeiten und Fehlinformationen enthalten. Die Essays richten sich an Rollenspieler, Lifestyle-Anhänger, Philosophie-Interessierte sowie allgemein an Leser, die sich mit der Gor-Romanwelt auseinandersetzen möchten.
